Daiwa sol vs sustain fg

What is a stronger smoother reel out of the two, daiwa sol 2500 or sustain fg 2500 will be mainly ised in saltwater

I've felt the Sustain in the shop but haven't fished with it. It seems like a really good reel but personally dont like the EVA knob. I've had a 2000 Sol for 2 years and it is still buttery smooth. You can't go wrong with either. The shimano will have more drag though in comparison to closest size Sol.

Hey Matt can't fault my fg2500 it is however a very new reel, the drag is very smooth. I had a good hard run on a GT recently and it would keep all fanatics happy iam sure! Feels like a solid little reel iam happy!

Ive used both and there both awesome reels but i prefer the sol over the sustain because it feels alot smoother and lighter and looks alot cooler.

Hey buddy,
I have one of the new sustain 1000 mate and im in love with it... Super light, really smooth casts great. I had to add two washers to get the line to lay evenly but after that was fine. Definitely worth looking at mate
