Nikon Coolpix AW100 = Awesome Fishing Camera!!

I recently bought a Nikon AW100 compact point and shoot camera for fishing, I used to use my Iphone for all my blogging pics before this because i didn't want to risk taking my DSLR. I wanted something that I didn't have to worry about dropping or getting wet which is why i went for the Nikon which is shockproof and waterproof. My first impression of the pics wasn't good as they were dull and lacking that sharp, crisp look i was after. i got to playing with the settings and reading the manual and now I'm absolutely loving it!
Here's a few pics.

That is just a few of my favorites, there's heaps more on my blog.

I got this camera about three months ago and tossed it up between a go pro and this camo version.

I love it, just have to remember to put in in the pocket every time I go, as normally we are too busy taking photos and uploading them to Facebook etc annoying people who have jobs etc!!

Nice pics, might have to read the manual now to help my skills out a bit

Yeah mate, I always use the lowest ISO possible to get a better image, I have set it to sports mode to get the fast shutter speed, and for most of the pics I use the flash to eliminate camera shake unless I have something to rest against. I also use the macro setting for close ups. And adjust the white balance according to the lighting. Also don't be scared to play around!
