Atomic Plazos
Hi Breamers,
It's not much to brag about, but it's a personal milestone - first bream on plastic and second on a lure. The new Atomic Plazos Paddle Tails look great - nice tail action. |

Good stuff, your 1st Bream is always the hardest, don't worry you will have no problem getting your next..
Excellent work

Good work mate, loving the new plazos range myself now especially after spending a day n the water with Craig Simmons
Btw does this plastic look very much like an ecogear grass minnow? |

yeah mate but the atomics have been around since the fat grub days!
They just keep changing the packaging and addind a new scent every few years... |

Thanks for the encouragement guys.
The rod is a home build on a Samurai BR101 2pc blank with the Fuji SK2 skeleton seat and Fuji micro guides on the top half. I'm really happy with it, super light. I'm also really happy with the Pflueger Patriarch, again super light and very smooth. I use this setup for trout too. |

Yeah it's really similar to the pink grass minnow but with a bit of glitter mixed through, also maybe a little bit lighter in the shade of pink.

Nice work mate, try the atomic plazo prongs in 3 inch. They are excellent, particularly "Carolina Pumpkin Holograph"

I would have thought the 3" would be too big for breaming, what makes you choose that size? How do you fish the prongs, on a standard Jig head, weightless or hidden weight? |

Nah mate they eat em' like jelly beans, definitely not too big. Hidden weight works best for me or I hook it up with a weedless Gamakatsu whilst in heavy snaggy territory. I catch plenty of jacks, barra and grunter on them too. I catch plenty of bream on 100mm wrigglers in bloodworm too and they are even larger than the 3 inch prong

Good work mate, good feeling that first. What do you mean its not much to Brag about? When i caught my first Bream on lures i think i looked like Mathew Mott "Jump for Joy, Jump for Joy, Number 1 on the water baby!!!"
