Certate 2004

Hay guys I have a 2004 certate since purchasing this reel I have only got to use it 4 times.on every occasion I have used it when I'm slow rolling my lure or retrieving it fast slow it is making a not so nice sound it is only occurring whilst it is under pressure when there no lure attached and I just spin it it does not make the noise.it is brand new never dropped no saltwater or anything like that any clues what's causing this ??

hmm, im guessing you havent dunked it either. Was it purchased brand new?

Not sure mate, can always send it back. Should be covered under warranty. Is it still smooth?

When I'm spinning it with no lure attached its as smoth as a baby bum.but once I'm retrieving with any pressure at all it starts

Yeah is it still smooth under pressure? Have heard of Mag seal leaking, maybe it has a lack of oil?

Seems to lose a bit of smothness under pressure.

its the roller bearing - just call daiwa up and get them so send you a new one under warrenty. Pulling it out and lubing a worn bearing does little, it will begining hissing soon after.

Yer brand new.cant be a worn bearing when it's been used 4 times ?
