Better looking perhaps but beauty is in the eye of the beholder! Also comes with the same anti corrosion treatment as found on the stella which the Shimano site says gives a better finish and better protection. Has an aluminium frame as does the Sustain. Thinking along similar lines myself and then a Certate came into the possibility mix. Aagh...get one and give me some feedback.

Found this thread which contains some useful info

cheers

I owned the bio 1000, sold it.
I'd go sustain with the faster ratio makes it a bit more versatile, I found myself winding like crazy!!! To pick up slack line in windy conditions.
I also have a Stella 1000 so I didn't really need it.
The reels spec wise are the same, just ratio and looks different
Cheers matt

I've got a 2500 sustain fg. Had it for about 5 months now. No complaints at all. Am really happy with it. X ship makes such a different when fighting fish. Lays line nice on the spool. U won't be disappointed if u get one at all. Plus I reckon they look cool in all black. Also the handle is very comfortable and the reel stand has come in handy when I've had to lay the rod down while re rigging/ unhooking. I caught a 76 cm jewie on mine with 10lb power pro 2 weeks ago and was surprised how well it handled it. Super smooth drag.

sustain seems to be the popular choice. i was leaning more towards the sustain but i was just trying to get some opinions before racing out and buying something
