nikon D3100

My girlfriend krysten is looking at buying a dslr. We think we have decided on the d3100 with 18-55 lense for now price was around the 550$ mark. We have been comparing the canon 1100 488$ with a single lense.. The nikon seems to get the better reviews. So just wanted to hear from people that may use one?



She has been previously using a nikon d50 but suffered a accident from her little brother and sister.

D3100 is an awesome lower budget DSLR mate, throw a 35M prime in the mix and you'll take some awesome shots!

Mine has done everything I want it to besides the crappy focus sound while your taking video.
