Daiwa wise minnows
Got given 3 of these, sinking minnow with a bib. Do I retrieve these like a sp or cast and wind or jig?

Slow roll, twitching...try a few different retrieves, just like any other hard bodied lure. Being a sinking lure, you can count them down to the required depth before you strt your retrieve...I'd reckon that most sinking type lures would fall at around a foot per second...ish?

I love my sinking minnows. But I've never had much luck with the wise minnows! I prefer making sinking presso's and mw62's. They just seem to be more successful for me!

I've heard that this lure flutters on the drop, like a stick minnow, as well as being a typical bibbed minnow lure.

That they do, I use them on pool trout and have used 'em on bream too, they're heavy and cast miles and sink fairly quick with a nice flutter. Slow rolling/letting them drop seems to a good mix for them.

We stock the Daiwa Wise Minnow, they work well and flutter on the drop but also work ok on a slow roll and like a jerk bait - i like them because they're versatile.
Landed me a 1 kilo fish in the Vic Bream Classic as Nelson earlier this year so I can't complain about them

I fish mine as a stick minnow and get trout.
