Pimped Lures

Hey guys,
I've got some really beaten up lures and they still work fine so I'm going to send them away and get them pimped.
Seeing though that I have never done this before I was wondering if some of you's could post some photos up of your pimped lures

cheers

Pimped

Hey,

Here are some I had done a while ago

stuff%20008.JPG

I had some other done a in a bleeding Ayu and a ghost Amber with stripes a few years back as well.

The lures are......
White suji, Zipbait hickory, OSP Bent Minnow, CX40, Dog x Jnr, shallow camion, Red Pepper jnr, chubby

Brown Suji, Skinny pop, Sammy, Bevy prop, Camion Dredge, Cranka Crank, Tiemco stick minnow, Jackal Colt minnow & tiemco pencil.

Always good service from PML, just takes a while being 4 to 5 weeks.

Cheers,

There was a thread not so long ago from or about a guy that does lure pimping, it was a pretty interesting thread from memory. I can not find it though to post the link.

This is his website, although I am sure he does not need any more work.

The images of his work are what I find the most impressive.

I got him to do 15 lures for me 3 different colours you need a minimum of 5 if you want to have more than one colour scheme. I sent off 2 lures I had for him to copy and 1 I made up myself from photo's of other lures. Amazing the quality he can achieve, great workmanship and hard to tell the difference between the copies and the real mccoy. Here is a link to one pic of a luckycraft shrimp pattern I had him copy for me. It's hard to get great photo's of the others but if you choose to get some pimped you won't be disappointed. Wait time is the killer though . You need will need 2 postage paid postpacs one to send them one to get them back and don't forget to remove all hooks and rings from you lures.
