Couple of my Spinnerbait colour schemes and a complete job

Hey guys, got my airbrush last week, so heres a few of my colour schemes and a complete SB (all i need is a clear epoxy enamel to harden up the job). There's also two vibes in there that were green and I repainted them so a nice purple/black and gold/black.
Cheers

Look really nice. A question though. I use spinner baits for bass, with some success - on occasions! I read that you tie the leader directly to the S/S wire on the bait and not use a 'clip'. I guess this is because it will slip given the tie end of the spinner bait is 'open' If so, why? Why not have a loop, like on a hardbody, so you can use clips?

Just for interest.

thanks mate.
I don't use a loop for a few reasons. one is because they make the bait a bit bulky for my liking, and also on a few I have used snaps on they get hung up a bit with the arm/swivel catching on the line, however I will be adding a small silicon band on the R-Bend so I could use a snap if I wanted to. I am going to use a full twist on my cod baits just to add strength to the frame though.
Cheers
