Baitcaster opinions.

Looking at getting another baitcaster.

Looking at Mo's only to find almost none of the ones I want are available in LHW ( hate being a numphty when it comes to RHW)

Anyway, I was thinking a Pixy or Pixy type R but can only find them in RHW, the only lefty that I might remotely consider is the T3 1016L.

I'm hoping someone knows where about in AUS can I find a left handed Pixy/Type R, if not peoples opinions on the T3 woukd be good.

Would take in other suggestions around the same price.

Be matched to a Samurai around 3-6kg 6"6' for plastics for bigger estuary species.

Thanks.

Pretty sure the Pixy is freshwater only, if indeed you're talking Saltwater estuaries. I can't comment to much but I haven't heard a bad thing about the T3, hope that helps.

I had this problem when I thought of getting a lefty Z...
Daiwa AU stopped bringing in lefties for a lot of the more recent releases.
So any tackleshop that has lefties is probably doing the importing themselves.
In which case, you might as well just import yourself.

Didn't know the Pixy was freshwater only, does that include the PX68's?

Thanks Nagz, not a fan of the zillion series.

Looking for something with a longer cast.

Flick it harder or use heavier lures

I can cast a mile with mine. If worried, just mess with your bearings and change em etc

Looking at chucking 1/8oz jigheads with this reel, I do have a spin but just prefer the feel of baitcasters sometime.

My ito can cast these lures alot further than any daiwa b/c, possibly any b/c I've used. Only problem is that it's F/water only.

Looking for something very similar casting wise.

Despite that, try the HLC, or a std Zillion with a TD-Z 100M spool.

Back to the voyage of looking for baitcasters again pivot mate? Havent u already had a yellow pixy?

Many of the reels mentioned can cast 1/8oz jighead with plastic a mile, and Conquest, Cardiff DC, Alderbaran, Scorpion, Core, Curado, some Revo's, Zillion PE, Zillion JD, Sol, Alphas, Alphas R-edtion....you name it. You did own some, though u sold them then.

Please keep us updated with what you get this time. Regards.
