Hey Stradic owners!- upgrade for you

Hey fellow Stradic owners, thought I'd share a cheap upgrade for you that has been awesome for me-
On US bay $15 delivered handle bearings to replace plastic bushings
The 4000 kit I've put in is great, the handle free spins beautifully now.
I've just bought the kit for the 2500 I'm gonna get soon, it comes with 2 for the handle, getting your bearing count up to rival the sustain!
7+1 roller in a Stradic!
I also put a Stella chrome piece on my grip looks sweet

The rod is a daiwa Airtorque 6-9kg, schmick quality for$ k guides fuji seat, very strong. Spins with big metals and heavy bottom bashing real well, I've got a baitcast 3-5 too very nice.
Not very common yet...

Do they have a kit for the 1000FJ? I just bought one today and wouldn't mind doing the upgrade.

With the Stradic, there's a few upgrade that can be done to it.
Handle bearings to replace the bushings....only one.
Worm gear bearings to support it instead of plastic bushings as well.....two can be fitted here.
Change over the standard washers to greased carbon fibre.
Last but not least, packed the roller bearing with grease.

Estimated costs.....$40.

Great info thanks Try to fish! .....

I guess at the end of the day many of these reels are the same to a degree, just more bearings and better drag setups.
