Daiwa machine gun cast II 6-20lb

Hi,Looking at this rod for hard body use .Daiwa recommends soft plastic non crank bait use.Has anyone used this rod or have an opinion on using it for hard bodies ?

Ive got the lighter version, 8-16lb type 1 and I use it for hardbodies, so yeh no problem at all.

I see it as a recommendation from the manufacturer as to what the rod was best designed to be used for.
It will be fine for what you need.
Its like g loomis rods, does anyone use there loomis rods only for the application on the blank? Not this fella
