I have just put the new i-pilot onto the boat and was wondering whether remote or pedal is the go? what do you prefer and is this kota as daunting as it looks?

I use both but mainly use the foot petal as i'm just use to it over years of using electrics..
Spot lock is what mainly use the remote for.. |

Ditto!
Always using the foot pedal except for setting spot-lock. |

Foot pedal 95% of the time.
I will use the remote for the spot lock and cruise control button. Moving a small distance to a new spot. Also when my wife relegates me to the back of the boat.
