Hi, probably overstepping my place in the "school" but I thought the Pirtek Challenge is a great cause as
most people on this site " have this type of tackle" you stands a chance of getting prostate cancer.
If you are over 50 and havn't been for a prostate check, can I suggest you see your GP, they dont use the finger anymore unless you hate having a blood test.
While your their get them to check you for skin cancer which is our second biggest killer.
I go every 12 months for a skin check cause I'm an old ranga. I do it close to my birthday (as it is a good reminder of how old I'm getting) and it may also mean I may have a few more birthdays to go fishing.
Anyway, I thought it may be good to have a state of origin bream comp on that day. (Surely someone could donate a prize or three) Follow the Pirtek rules of just measuring the fish and a photo of your biggest bream and put it on this site.
Its not like its footy, all states have bream.
Anyway its just a suggestion. Im sure everyone knows someone who has lost a rellie or mate from either skin or prostate well before their time.
