sorry, they are available new for a fair bit less so maybe 280 - 300 would be more like it.

with fishing gears,rarely you will be able to make any profits after you have used it.

Depends where he bought it and when, perhaps he bout it when the $$ was down against the Yen or maybe he bought it in oz? These rods have been around for a few years

I have SLM 74UL and its one of my faves, its a 3 piece and I broke the top section and it cost me $160 for the replacement. Quote from oz was $270 just for the one section.
