Check out Nitro, Majorcraft, St. Croix and Shimano; whom all have a really good range of travel rods. Not sure exactly what your after so I can't really point you in any direction just yet. Would it be baitcast or spin? and what length are you after?

Nitro 007 Magnum butt is a 4 piece rod with a medium action. But they arnt cheap.

alternatively you can get a T curve revolution in 3 pieces at that action.

Magnum butt would be my choice for larger fish. I run 9kg on mine and it goes very well on spangled emperor when they arent too close to coral and i plan to use it for pinkies a fair bit this year. They are great rods but if your using 3-4kg line then I would go for a smaller model. If its 3-4kg fish then depending on what they are, the magnum butt might be more suited.

GLX pr844 3 piece 8-17lb, i was lucky to pic one up seconhand and love it. so far only used it for jacks and being a little heavy on some bream . plan on catching spotty mackeral, snapper etc as well on it. Have a 3000 shimano biomaster on it and its light. Can cast lures down to bream crank size
