Tcurve deep jig 200 V's Tcurve Revolution Vertical Jig. PE4.
Hi guys.
I'm after a jig rod to suit a 10000 saragosa spooled with 50pnd braid. I will be using jigs between 150 and 250gms. I was thinking one of the above mentioned rods. What do you guys think about these rods for kings around Eden or any other rods you may think are better for around the $200 mark. Thanks. |

For what your looking at the 40-50lb model revolution vertical looks fine. Those revolution vertical rods have very nice bends on them when you load them up and plenty of power to handle decent fish.

Have you used one your self. Ive had a play with both rods in the shop and found the vertical jig had heaps more guts but the tackle store bloke told me he thinks the deep jig is a better blank. |

I havent but will be getting one in the next few weeks. Got the offer of a loaner to try out but just got to get the day to head out wide. Im looking at the 20-30lb one for demersal jigging here to 50m max. I loaded them up in store with a mate who is right into jigging and works there. He rates them highly but fishes a maria steady PE2 rod himself which is unbelievable but to $$$ for my liking. Tried a few that werent bad- the live fibre and a tairyo to name a couple but the okuma was pretty ordinary. Didnt try the deep jig. The revolution vertical was as close to the maria as he had in stock.
Planning to load mine up with my stella 5000 and 30lb accudepth. |
