Where to start with vibes?
Hey fellas! I've been reading a b it about vibe lures recently and would like to give them a run.
 Just wondering where I should start in terms of which lure should I buy and what sort of retrive? Cheers

depends on the location, if your at say docklands in melbourne just teabagging up and down slowly around the pylons is the go,not sure about other environments though. have a look on youtube purefishing and adam royter may have some video's.

There is no real rules when it comes to vibe fishing.. Some days they will hit on a fast erratic retrieve,, some days you can leave the vibe idle for 10 seconds, and lift the rod tip,, only to find a blue nose attached..
They are a great lure to seek out schooling fish, and those fish that are sitting below the freshwater after a big rain.. They can also be productive on the flats, as you can cast an absolute mile with them.. Some of the best IMO are the Ecogear range,, Zx and VX.. Many aqclassic has been won, on these lures.. Other outstanding models are the TT Range of blades,River to Sea Baby Vibe, Strike Pro Micro vibe and the Berkley big eye... You will discover that Vibe fishing can be monotonous at times,, but catch fish this way, when they are not up on the edges surely beats catching no fish at all...

Just mix it up with the blades mate and find out what the fish want on the day. Some days itis just a very short lift and drop that is required, other days you may find working it faster and harder gets the bights. If you fish shallow water with blades go with zx's or TT Ghost Blades both very effective in the shallows imo.

Cheers for the replies fellas, though I was more meaning what lures should I look at buying in terms of vibes not blades! Ive done a bit of blade fishing though not much with vibes!

work the Vibes the same way as blades except usually it takes a little longer for them to sink.
Personal favourites are the CRANKA vibes, although the good colours are hard to get now, but all the other vibes like Bevy vibes, Baby vibes, Bady vibes, Gladiator Shiver vibes and god knows how many more do work equally as well. My advice, go get some and chuck them around. You will soon find out what will work for you.

nuzzy, the new and improved cranka vibes will be out soon just waiting on some unexpected delays.
20 new colours and a new body finish as well as upgraded hooks are rings will cement it's place as the best bream vibe on the market!
