Grave digging here!!
How did the super slick work for ya Jewels? I'm looking at either 15 or 20lb for beach casting. I can't really find many reviews of it.
Cheers

Haha yeah that was a while ago.

I have put in on my advantage 3500 and have been very happy with it so far.
To be honest though i havent used it a great deal but enough to know id buy it again. Im a fan of powerpro in the heavier line classes.

I have been used the 30lb since Dec last year, awsome line, strong and smooth, cast like a dream.
Not thin like daiwa accudepth, but very strong.
The blue looks very sexy on my stella 5000sw .

Yea I've got the 20lb marine blue too, it's extremely thick unfortunately, but very smooth and strong, it's ended up on my bottom bash bait setup and serves me very well.
I reckon the 10lb would be great for snapper plastics work

Thanks for the replies and links. I did see the Stripersonline post, the tackletour ones were interesting. I reckon I'll give it a go, only because it's cheap from the US.
Cheers

Most Power Pro is thick and breaks well over stated (sometimes triple). I was hoping for a thinner more slick line when I purchased the super slick 8. It was slightly better than standard power pro but certainly not as sleek as more expensive braids. It was also stiffer than standard like a fused braid. Best to work on double the stated breaking strain so you get a thinner braid. If you are thinking 15lb, buy 8lb. I bought 30lb mainly for baitfishing large baits for jumbo tailor around reefs and it certainly has some good abrasion resistence. Probably breaks at over 50lb!

For more information try this guy.... he's an independant line tester.
