Georges river help

Hey guys went for a pre fish today up George's river. Went pretty far up and fished different flats from 10 foot to 4 foot for a few flathead 1 going over 70cm and 1 bream 30cm
Checked out about 10 different flats for not much though it was low tide
Then checked out the rail bridge on the way back with bait everywhere on the sounder got nothing using blades and plastics
So tried deep at dead low tide a bald point and kangaroo point in 40 to 50 foot for not a touch then tried Tom uglys bridge for nothing then the wind blew up so called it a day not impressed were the hell are the bream anyone got a better clue than me?

Yeah pre fishing for that comp haven't fished it pretty much at all and it was the only round we missed last year but yeah flats looked good but just no fish on them definitely a lot different to the para river and lane cove and port hacking but maybe I just fished it on a off day any advice would be awesome

Id take a trip to the cooks river which runs off the bay and is a good place to get bream, you will find most will be fishing this area also in the main bay fishing banks.
Ive found that in other locations where the water is super clear id dust off the topwater lures.
Good luck with the comp.

Yeah thanks haven't been to the cooks but have seen it before its a good option I'm spewing that it's a low tide at 7.30 which is a horrible tide for my techniques in Sydney the boats and moorings don't seem to produce as much in the George's as they do in the harbour but I still got a few pre fishes to go so I'll try crack them at low tide
I couldn't believe that 50 foot hole at bald point and no fish in there it looks the goods on the side imaging oh well

Last few comps fished there have been won on flats, shallow running HB's and topwater lures are your best bet...id hit the cooks first thing and smack those banks...imoa.
