ABT question

Just a quick question before i sign up and send my money away. I want to enter the Tweed ABT Hobie kayak round. On the website is says Tweed river, Qualifier. Do i have to have entered and gained a spot to participate in this event or is this like the start of the Tweed rounds? Where you have to qualify to enter the following rounds?

Qualifier means if you are in the top 'X' placing for that round, you will qualify for the final.

The qualifiers are open for anyone mate. Get in it!
