Rigging 1.5" sliders and others???

Hi,

Just got some sp's from the online store and was wounding how to rig them.

I presume i have the hook facingthe opposite direct to where the tail is pointing on the sliders and the same direct as the tail faces on the fat grubs.

Is this the correct way or should i do it differently???

p.s how do the pumpkin shrimp sliders go on small flathead???

thanks heaps

Hiya...

I'll give a shot at explaining it.

Picture your hook.

O-----\

thread your plastic onto the hook so it lays flat along the hook with the tail pointing up.

O=========-/=

NB the ..... = whitespace

This way when jigging the tail will point down and give you alot more action than the other way around. Hopefully you can understand that. Sorry about the ASCII art but my scanner isnt hooked up at the moment. Just make sure you dont bunch the plastic up on the hook and that you have alot of action in the tail.

Not sure how the pumpkin goes, Kurt Blanksby said they are a rocking lure, but the muscadine is what I broke my SP cherry with.

...Cheers

Shane
