Daiwa steez Amraam

I haven't felt this rod yet but i have felt the super sky flash and it was awsome, how do the steezes compare to the samurai's do they leave them for dead or are they close.
I would also like to know what people think of the Amraam I'd be using it for trout in streams as well as some bream and will be throwing small plastics and hards would it suit?
and if you know of a shop in or around Melbourne that stocks them I'd like to know thanks

They're definately a very different kind of rod. Not everyones cup of tea. I had a play with one a while ago and I loved it. The Feral Kat and Skyflash have a bit more backbone than the Amraam. Feeling for bites through the rod is difficult because of how flexible the tip is, but the last few guide wraps of the Amraam are bright yellow because they're designed to allow you to pick up on really subtle bites by watching the tip. I think they're something that you'd have to make your own mind up on as to wether or not you like using them. Personally I'd be more inclined to use them for ultralight plastic work with 2-3lb line on days where fish are being shy. Hope this helps mate

it really does help because i have never actually fished with a steez before I don't know exactly what they are like

Ray and annes have a special on with a 2004 certate and a steez storm shadow as combo for $900 thats preaty dam good value i want the reel but not 100% what the storm shadow is like or for $1000 the certate turns into a steez
