Curado upgrades

First off, new to this forum and so far finding it fantastic

secondly, brought a curado 200e5 little while back and while i love it straight out of the box, i've been seeing alot of talk about bearing and drag upgrades. Question is are they worth it?
Been told by alot of people that theres no problems with the drags at all but they benifit from bearing uprgades with increased castability and smoothness.

If anyone can give any feedback and info (price, where in brisbane does it or best place to buy from) particuarly if you've made these would be much appreciated.

Cheers in advance,
Ben

I upgraded the bearings on my curado to abec 7's. Deffinatly improved it's casting capabilities and worth it in my books. I could tell you where to get them though as I bought mine from another member on here.

Wink

Doubling casting distance sounds good to me, would finally be able to land the smaller lures and jig heads where i need em rather than 2 or 3m short!
I found a site from the states, big green fish (if anyone has brought there products or has any info, would be good to hear any feedback) which do a supertune kit, drag and bearing upgrades for bout $25 of the top of my head, only thing is i've always been hesitant when buying things online from overseas though, may just have to bite the bullet and get em. I'm sure work wont mind, or find out, paying air freight to get em over a bit quicker, coz the worst parts always the waiting!

Cheers for the replies,
Ben.

Jack erskine from carins has all the good stuff. I up graded my calcutta with carbon x drag washers. He has all the bearings too including orange ceramic bearings. $5 postage and you should get it within a week. Just google his name and the site will come up. I highly recommend him.
