Stradic ci4 2500, will 3000 spool fit?

Hi,
I bought a 3000 spool for my 2500 ci4, but the drag knob seems to be different?
Has anyone done this before? And if so how?

What 3000 spool did you purchase?
if its stradic FI 3000 or Stradic CI4. It will fit.

3000 stradic ci4 spool, it does fit, but the drag knob didn't seem too? The drag knob is off the 2500 spool.

Based on my previous experience, I interchange my stradic FI 3000 spool with my stradic ci4 and have no problem. the drag knobs match each others spool.

ive read it somewhere here, that it will fit on a 2500 body, as the 3000 reel share the same body, just the spool is bigger and more line needed to spool. I am looking for a spool as well (ci4 2500) may i ask where you bought it?

Just went into my local tackle store and they ordered it in for me, think it was about $70
