rod under $150
g'day all
i just got myself a new daiwa exceler 2000 and thinking of a new rod down the track for it and wondering what to get but it has to be 150 dollars or under. i will be using it for bigger flathead, squire, salmon smaller kingys and smaller jew possibly. it has to be 2 piece and thinking around 2-5 or 3-6 kg rod. advice would be great. cheers Nuggert. |

For under $150 I'd get a pflueger trion. They make a 6'6" and 7' model, rated to 2-4kg, and a 7' model rated to 3-6kg, all of which are 2pc. They are really good rods for the money.

i was on ocean storm.com and they shimano jewels for 99 dollars are they good rod has anyone had any problems with them?
