rod under $150

g'day all
i just got myself a new daiwa exceler 2000 and thinking of a new rod down the track for it and wondering what to get but it has to be 150 dollars or under.
i will be using it for bigger flathead, squire, salmon smaller kingys and smaller jew possibly.
it has to be 2 piece and thinking around 2-5 or 3-6 kg rod.
advice would be great.
cheers Nuggert.

In that price range you should also have a look at one of the im7 berkley dropshot rods which can be found at cheaper prices, you just need to look around. The TP starlo stix's are relatively popular for working jewie plastics also, might be worth a look. If you can extend your budget however the Innovator Nitro Voodoo will do everything you want and more.
cheers squidgy96i shall have a look at the rods and how much does a nitro voodoo go for?

hi nuggert,
IF you can stretch your limit or save a little more get a samiki zing otherwise match the hatch with a daiwa exceller 2-4kg 7ft rod at $99. This way you still have the money left to buy some lures

Hope this helped, fisho fanatic3

For under $150 I'd get a pflueger trion. They make a 6'6" and 7' model, rated to 2-4kg, and a 7' model rated to 3-6kg, all of which are 2pc. They are really good rods for the money.
