Trolling for some choppers off my yak.

Hey everyone since I don't really target tailor (only catch them as a by-catch) I don't know much about them. I'm planning on trolling hardbodys in the swan river to try and catch some choppers. Can you guys give me any tips on catching these fish and also what lure choice?

Thanks.

G'Day Bazzo as Squidgy said they will take big lures but I tend to use 40-60 mm "bite size" offerings with alot of action. Here's one I trolled up in the yak in the Maroochy R. yesterday using a Halco Scorpion (approx 60 mm) in gold and red. No a big one but did jump all over the shop. I'd choose bright colours with a bit of silver/gold e.g. red, pink, chartreuse Pat

wheni go in the perth ocean i catch them to 45cm on halco whiptails but in the river they are usually not legal and are only on bream lures and herring twistys
