Handheld fishfinder

Hey everyone,
Is there such thing as a handheld/landbased fish finder? hahaha...
If yes, how effective would it be?

Cheers!

handhelds

Humminbird do a Fishn' Buddy in 3 styles. They also used to do ones that mount on fishing rod or wear like a wrist watch, cast a wireless transducer out with a rod. Haven't sold those in Aus for a while but not to say they aren't still out there as old stock in some shops or available OS.

It's not a 'hand held' type but I got a hummingbird portable mount one for the boat, but it was really for jetties and stuff- not cheap though, approx $600- that was for the colour screen with side finder, the main stem could extend a fair distance (approx 1m from closed up) Wasn't that good for the boat due to it had to be removed everytime you wanted to move so I upgraded to a fixed mount garmin, but the graphics looked as good as hummingbirds "cheaper" colour screen
