1-3kg rod with cork grips

looking for one under $100 any ideas? turned off by the sicstiks because ive heard they had a problem with snapping..

cutting a 14ft 6kg dosent count lol, are you a rod builder? dont think id get a custom for under $100:P

A Pfleuger Trion is a good option. DohDohDohDohDohDohDohDoh have them for $100.

think im going to have to go for 2-4kg, cant find a 1-3 in a 2pce or if they even make them!

im gunna get into rod building in a few weeks, if u can find a cheap blank, guides i will supply thread and stuff and ud have a custom for like $120 or sumthin ($50 more than the cost of the blank and guides for thread, epoxy and time)

1 - 3 Berkley dropshot is another good one.

Personally i dont think you'll find anything much better then a dropshot or trion in that price bracket.

Yeah, trion don't make the 1-3 in a 2 pc - good rod but I sold mine as I really wanted a two pc at the time.
I replaced it with a dropshot and it's just as good - it doesn't have the cork grips you're after but you shouldn't overlook this one

Wilson LCS - cork grips and 2 piece. I have 2 of them. Bought it over the trion because all 3 of the trions in the shop had wacked reel seat or guide alignment.

+1. this is generally the first rod i pick up over my t-curves they are that good.

went to my local today and picked up a berkley attach 7ft 2-4kg for $45 on special, driving a ute and not wanting to have a toothpick rod in the back, so two piece is my only option atm.. might have to get a nice rod tube. couldnt go past the attack for the price. will go nice next to my 6ft attack. as for rod building id have to have a look into it before i went custom and find out what would be more suited to me over a off the shelf rod.

What are the snapper versoins like?
i have seen a wilson model, cant remember the name but it looked good.
