new boat

Gday all just brought myself a new stacer nomad 449 with a 50hp tohatsu and a motor guid 55lb bow mount.
Going to extend the cast deck and put a live well in so i can hit the tournie's.
Should be a good allround boat anyone have any experiance on the above set up or similer.
namley the speed i would get out of a 50hp on this hull and how the bow mount goes.
I pick it up in two days so i cant wait.

I will put up pics when i get it and when i do the extensions.
Thanks all.

Congrats on the new boat mate. I got a 4m Stacer Proline a few months back with a 55lb Motorguide tour model electric motor (I think it is). Its a great motor, I love it. I think you will be very happy with it.

I have a Bluefin Viking 4.75m with the Tohatsu 50hp 2 stroke and have added a casting deck, 100l underfloor fuel tank and a livewell that would easily be 150L. I get 50km/h out of it loaded on calm water and that drops back to 45km/h in rough. conditions.

Your boat should do 50+km/h loaded in rough conditions.
