LOX or LOOMIS

Hey guys
Been feeling rods at my local fishing shop and have decided between a Gloomis Gl3 6'6 a Gloomis TSR 7' or the Lox Yoshi.
Personally I love the feel of the Lox but I dont trust how thin that tip is. The GL3 is nice because im just going 6' myself and i love the grips on the TSR.
Any Imput would be a great help.

Thanks

If you have the money go the Lubemis. You'll NEVER look back.

I have just invested in a Loomis - DSR820S(6'10"). Have only used it a few times but feels like it was 'meant to be.' Sorry cant comment on the Lox as have not used one. Regards. HBt

lox or loomis

Hi mate ,

I have both and the tsr wins hands down there is no comparison, you have to be very careful with the lox i have had both of my lox 1-3kg rods broken at the tip when lending to people on my boat .
I have both the dropshot glx and the tsr glx and the 1-3kg tsr is awsome highly recomend it.

cheers

Gary

I personally dont know how anyone could find the lox grips comfortable to use? I reckon their blanks are really good however.
Id go the loomis for sure.

The GL3 is no where near the cripsness of the GLX or IMX so would go for what feel better in your hands. Loomis are great (my go to) but only IMX and up, just from what I've handled.

Jewels Lox werent made for 7 foot magillas

I dont know about Lox rods but I own a few Loomis'. As said, the GLX and IMX are great. I own a GL3 too and I find its not as crisp but I still love using it.
