dunno what to do

ive got a Pflueger Supreme AST rod 1-3kg and love it to bits.its nice and light, great with unweigted soft plastics and hardbodies.brilliant!but it is a bit too light as i am unable to put the hurt on even an average bream,so i was thinking of selling it and buying a samaki zing 4-8lb and putting a 1000 stradic on it.
so just wanted to know what other people would do.
just remember i can only have it one way or another, unless someone wants to sell me a zing cheap?

other than a zing, you could look at the allure, a starlo stix or even a dropshot. All three will come in at around $100 so maybe you could keep your other rod.

It would also be more than capable of being multi species as well so bass, flatties, school jew and small trevs would be within the outfits limits and all 3 should go fair well with a stradic.

Don't forget the raiders, the 2-4kg is very ballsy and will balance nice with your 1000 Stradic

Whats stopping you bringing the pain mate? I have a mate with the exact same rod and he's pulled some big bream out of crazy structure. He lands trevs, tailor, jacks all sorts on it.
Maybe just go up a line class?
