2000 Sol or 1000 twinpower fc

i know .. sorry to have to ask this but i am stuck in the office and can't get out to have a play with these reels ..

how do these reels compare ?

I remember the 2500 tp being quite a heavy reel and probably not as suitable for breaming than the 2000 sol

how about the tp 1000 ? do the small shimanos still have casting/wind knot issues due to the smallish spool ? also is the tp1000 a LOT smaller than the 2000 sol ?

thanks tacklerats.

It's not to much smaller, and ive never had an issue with wind knots and such with 1000 sized shimaos. And if you get in quick (probably by the end of today) a really big tacklestore starting with m and ending in o has the to for $239. Cheaper than the sol

Not sure how they are in comparisson but teh Sol in an awesome reel. I have a 2000 on a Lox yoshi and it's a very good combo. Reel is very smooth. I've only had it for less than a year but everyone says they last a long time even after a beating.

BUT if you want a twinpower 1000, MT has them atm for $239!!! I think that may only last until midday today.

I emailed mt yesterday about the sale and they said they will stay at that price till they run out of reels, which the expected to happen in under 2 days. That was lunchtime yesterday, so if you decide on a twinpower, get onto it asap!!
