Hello
Just wondering about your thoughts on the gekka.
For only $200 it is very cheap and I have heard a lot of good things about this reel.
I love its low crank speed, but i dislike how it has a very shallow spool and cant take much line.
Does anyone know if it comes with a spare spool?
Thanks in advance

Awesome reel, you should read some of the other threads. As for line capacity depending on brand and size of line, let say you put 90m of whatever on it, if you hook a bream the manages to peel the whole 90 m you are doing it wrong. It's a finesse reel. No spare spool.

you could probably get a 2000 sized spool from a sol or anything that's RCS customisable.
