New Rod suggestions

G'day all,

I am looking at getting a new rod to go with my Shimano Seido 1000.

I had a Pflueger Trion 1-3kg but it misteriously snapped in the back of the Patrol (I think it was the wife but I won't blame her, well not to her face at least =))

I was thinking of getting something a little lighter, I had a feel of a Wilson RCS 1-3kg which felt really nice, I like the short butt seems to balance quite nicely with the heavier Seido.

Any other thoughts? I am ahppy to spend up to about $150

The Quantum Response 1-3kg
is very nice.

Daiwa Tierra 7" 4-8lb is a nice stick for about $140. Or if you can spend abit extra i highly recommend the Samaki Zing 6"10 4-8lb for about $170-180.

i have pflueger medalist 1-3kg 6ft6 gathering dust if your interested. has a nice blank and those single leg titanium sic guides.

These are good rods, I have a 7ft version. The guides alone are worth over $100.
