budget is about $300 and i have a heavier one but its just not fun anymore wanna better fight would prefer to buy from here so i can feel the rod

There aren't many light baitcasting rods available here. Only some are made for aussie bass fishing. Innovator make the Nitro Outlaw Bass or something, that is the only 1-3kg baitcasting rod I've seen in the shops.

so maybe a 2-4 kg with a softer tip

Okuma have 6 and 7ft 2-4kg baitcasters coming out in 1 month. Really light, alps guides fuji reel seat from memory.
