Pflueger Trinity rod?

The Trinity reel is OK for the money. Better than what other brands can put out at the same dollar.... In my opinion.

In the same position, is there anything that can beat the trinity at the same price.

The only thing Okuma are good at is paying Mark Berg to push their (generally) substandard gear out.

In my opinion. :P

trinity reels are absolute crud, spend the money on a shimano or something and it'll last 10times as long, my old trinity rusted out in a couple of months

I guess that comes down to how you look after your gear.

True that Shi+mano & Diawa do last a long time, however even these do fail if they're not looed after...

Anyhow my unbiased thought of the top of the line Pfleuger spin reel was pretty 'meh', every turn of the handle gave me the feeling that there was a different angle on the foam handle from top to bottom (like it was angle flopping)...

Anyhow each to their own...
