just wondering about a reel to suit a 7' squidgy spin or maybe the 6'6'' stella spin. have about $ 60 - 70.
have looked at the following: shimano 2000 $ 65. TCA ( i think ) 2000 $ 62.50 Shakespeare 1500 $ 65.00 and the okuma range as well. any advice appreciated. |

If you save your pennies and get the Okuma Epix 20 you won't be disappointed. It absolutely rocks!

Or if you can't wait, try an Okuma Avenger AV15 or 20. They are in your price range (around $70) and still a pretty good reel.
Cheers James.

The Avenger is a great reel, and has a 5yr warranty
I have two, and both have NEVER faulted at all, and I treat them pretty roughly jumping over rocks and snags etc. Good hardy reel that feels fantastic

If you're looking at a 30 in reel size, I'd even look at the Okuma Fina. I have the FA30 and it's tough as nails. I understand that a new range of Finas is due out soon, already in the US.
Worth a look.
