daiwa service

how do i go about getting my daiwa reels serviced by daiwa. and how much does it cost??? and can it be done in aus.

Take your reels into a tackle shop whi sells Daiwa and they can send them into Daiwa for you.

You're better off sending them directly in my opinion, unless you're certain the tackle shop will send it off right away. Otherwise your reel might sit in a back room until a few other people drop in reels to have sent off.

2nd chamelions comment, i had a shimano calcutta te300 that sat in a tackle store four 4 weeks when the shimano service department was less than an hour away by car
cant speak for daiwa as i havent used their service center yet

Talking Daiwa service

Ihad my airity service a month ago at the local it took three weeks till i got it back and im sure it was $35.

I hope they have lifted thier game, I have had nothing but slow, unresponsive service from them. In they past they have been very well known for telling slight "untruths". I heard they lifted thier game recently but am unsure

Mate i did mine through a tackle store and so far it has taken 3 weeks so yeah.
I did drop it in at the wrong time of year over th xmas break so that could have somthing to do with it.

if you live on the gold coast i had to reels serviced by this guy at paradise point and it took overnight and only cost 52 bucks for the two and he did a good job

Be carfull with warranty if you are still covered make sure its a diawa autherised service center etc etc
