Get your self a Halco scorpian 35mm.

Would leave them 2 to shame.

Should be $8, one of the best/ the best bream lure under $12 IMO.

Those wrigglers are sure to catch you some fish... You have some jigheads for them, right?

A Scorpian would catch more bream then the 5 of them.

Not ragging them, they would still catch bream.

It's just you can't go past a RMG Scorpian in the "fire fin" colour for the price.

Hi mate

I'd focus on starting off with softplastics, the soft plastics you have shown us are all proven fish catchers. I preffered starting off with softplastics - plenty of fish will eat something that is wriggling and smells like a living creature.

You might not get that 40cm bream for a while, but any fish is welcomed when your starting out (even now.....a few years down the track!!). Flathead are a great learning species to target, throw on a reasonably heavy jighead and throw it out and started jiggling it around the bottom. A flathead will eventually eat it

Have you followed my own and others suggestions of googling and searching youtube for fishing advice and video clips? Theres plenty of great information out there

I would be using those Wriglers for sure... if you havnt got any jigheads yet, go to BigW and get some in 1/8th or smaller (nothing heavier) size, sure to pickup 8-10 for $4-$5 bucks. Find an estuary or river close by and be sure to cast out near any structures (pillons, piers, snags etc...). You will pick yourself up a flatty, bream or similar in no time... Vary your retrieve until you find something that works for you, but my opinion is slower is always (99%) better...

px is just a popper, kinda easy to use. Ok maybe a NW pencil, bit heavier and easy to cast from shore.

Gave a couple of lures to another young fella on the Goldy a while back and he PM'd today he got a 36cm pb on one of the lures, your buddy Blake, so I thought I would be nice to keep the Kama going.

Regards,
