The new fishing machine

Picked up the new boat yesterday.

Pioneer 180 Sportfish. An 18ft American made center console, so the quality and finish is excellent.
On the back is a 135 Verado, which should see the boat going along nicley.

We wanted a stable boat that was capable of going offshore and still being able to fish the shallower rivers and dams.

Total lengh: 18ft(5.5m)
Beam: 7'7''(2.3m)

Very nice boat. I really like the Pioneers and very nearly bought one of the Cape Island's before the Trophy came up at the right price. It should serve you very well.
Did you import the boat yourself or buy it through the Aus dealer?

Cheers, Dror

Heres some of the electronics/accessories that we're going to install.
Still have trim tabs and electric motor to come.

HDS 10 and Vessel view display are going to be flush mounted in the dash.
HDS 5 is going to be mounted on the bow in front of the casting deck.

that is an excellent looking boat, I saw one recently and they fitted a removable screen to the front, it would have made it a bit more comfortable for pax when a long way offshore
Cheers, Damien

Thanks Damien, we're thinking of getting a removable screen to put up between the t-top rails, in front of the console. It will be good to stop a bit of the spray and wind when offshore down south.
