Boat Transport

Hi guys, I am looking to bring a boat from WA Perth to Melbourne. What are some of the ways I can do this? I heard that you can put it on a train, put it on the back of a truck or put it in one of those shipping containers. The boat is a 4.3m excluding trailer. Anybody got a rough idea of how much it will cost for each method? And if anybody could recommend me a good company to do it, it would be very helpful.

Cheers,

Alex

Not sure that you can get a boat across from Perth for a grand, I think you would be looking at closer to $3K for that size.

But try the following -

Auswide Boat – Phil – 0419 504 838

K&S Transport – 8744 3723

Carahaul – Mike or Ross - 0458 569 020

The main issue is that it would travel part of the way on a truck and part on rail.

Let me know how you go.

Cheers

If it was going to cost say 3k to transport it to Melbourne it would be cheaper to drive there and pick it up yourself.I guess depends on how you drive and what sort of car you have aswell.

Try these people
