Very nice Bass.

But be prepared as posting a photo of a big girl like that, next to your backyard pool, on a site that promotes catch & release is sure to open a large can of worms!

My biggest bream went 1.25kg caught on a sandworm in the docklands back in the day, no idea on the length.

Was she tasty? Come on guys, could have been hooked in the gills, could be a sweet river right behind the house (same as my brothers old house in Bundaberg)! If not it was his choice at the time and all we should offer is polite words..

I understand what your saying, and agree.

Just a polite message warning that some comments may not be so nice, considering the history of these types of posts non this forum.

But, very nice Bass!!!!

the fish was released, the only reason it was taken near the pool was so my grandfather could see it and take a photo, if you look into the background behind the pool you can see a canal where she was caught on the gold coast many of my bigger bream and bass have been caught in this location (all land based) and every single one of them was released and has survived to the best of my knowledge. I am the strongest believer of catch and release.
