What size ci4?

As an example.. My Ci4 2500 was a perfect match to my Pro Tactic 2-4kg 6'6"... My replacement reel is only 2 grams heavier, so should also be a sweet match.

Weight of the reel shouldn't matter too much. Pretty sure the center of gravity for most 100 size reels is pretty similar. A lighter reel will fill better in the hand but for matching it to a rod I don't know if it is that much of a problem. A mate has a pflueger rod that he originally used with a 3000 penn affinity. If you've ever used one its one hell of a heavy reel. The rod was perfectly balanced. He now has a stradic FI 1000 on there which is the right size reel for the rod and that also is balanced.

I am happy with the pflueger trions and should be as good as any sub $200 rod out there.
