8lb for bream
ive found this line i like thats 8 lb but is this to heavy would you ever go this far for bream i currently use 6 lb but really like the look of this line

I think as long as it's thin enough.. I know a lot of people here including me using Castaway which at last be 10lb.

8lb should be fine, I even run PE1 10lb Sunline Super PE on one of my breaming reels. May not cast lures as far as the reels with the thinner braid, but its trouble free when conditions are tough.

yeah mate 8lb is fine generally speaking. I use 8lb on one of my breaming reels and love it!

I use 8 and 10lb line on my bream reels. Frog in 8lb and Rock Fish PE in 10lb, never needed any more pulling power and casts are still respectable. Less wind knots too.

the castaway 10 lb has a diameter of 0.198 mm and the super pe 10 lb has a diameter of 0.175 mm according to Paulus fishing website.
