Victorian Classic State Team Tops

Hi Guys

Thought some of you may be interested to see the tournament tops we have designed for the boys representing the Humminbird Vic Bream Classic Series in the up coming ABT National Classic Final in Metung.

Even though the guys are competing for individual team honors I still think the Vic Bream Classic boys are a tight knit group and deserve to feel part of an official state team. Hopefully it may catch on with the other states in the future. I would love to also see a perpetual state of origin trophy where each state accumulate points based on where they finish to decide who is the champion state team along with all the individual accolades.

Cheers
Bill

I've always dreamed of wearing the BIG V Billy..now I get my chance.

Looks great, better encourage the other states to get on board with their own designs so we know who we are competing against.

What sort of material are you using for the shirts? Will they have a collar?
Looking the goods though. Go the Big V

Thanks guys

All the praise has to go to Peter Howell from 4A's Displays and Signs who has donated his time to design the top for us free of charge. If anyone is looking for their own tournament shirts, boat or car wraps make sure you give Pete a call as he has supported the Vic Bream Series since its inception. Also if any of the companies you work for have company vehicles and are looking for a new graphic design company to wrap them up please refer Pete's name to them.

Cheers
Bill

Hi Bill,

The shirts are awsome , amazing technology these days. The state of Origin is a great idea .I live in NSW and would love to participate in a state of origin challenge , you could have 3 rounds one in say mallacoota one in clyde river and then the final some where . With a perpetual trophy for state bragging rights Ha Ha .

cheers

Gary

Hi Gary

That would be a good idea but I am going to work with Morgo to try and incorporate a state of origin section into this years National final based on points system. Should be a bit of fun.

Bill what are the numbers like? do each of the states have a similar number? or could it be the top 10 teams from each state contribute points to the State of the Year award?

Thats what I was thinking Craig but these are the numbers
24 = NSW
21 = VIC
3 = QLD
2 = TAS
2 = SA
2 = WA

What I think would rock is if Vic took on NSW in a head to head battle with top 21 from each state accumulating points into the state of origin clash. We could then have another state of origin clash between WA, SA, TAS, QLD.
With so many teams for VIC and NSW it would be a great battle with pretty much every team in the field contributing to the victory.

The other option is to have VIC, TAS, SA take on NSW, QLD & WA but I feel you loose the state pride in that case a little taking away from the feel of state of origin. Anyway heaps to think about and it will be Morgo's decision at the end of the day.

Cheers
Bill

WOW....didn't expect the numbers to be that steep....i expected Vic & NSW to be higher but thats incredible.

Keeping the states separate will increase the State of Origin 'hatred' alive and kicking
