if you will be chasing tuna i would stick to shimano cause of the higher gear ratio but for bream and whiting and general river speices go with daiwa and probably the infeet

The infeet & tierra will be fine with bream & withing but with tuna depends what you call small some can spool you.

um buddy i use an infeet with 6lb super pe,
super pe is very thin and you can fit 150yds.
that is more than enough for little tuna and all river species.
even if u hook a decent tuna u can chase him in the boat??
but hope u find what your looking for (:

You still can put 100m plus braid on an infeet mate.. And I don't know any bream that makes 100m runs..

mate,
there have been some substantial big fish captures on small reels, but imo and just judging my own fish fighting ability, i would go with a tierra, just for the capacity of the reel.

cheers

for bream etc get the infeet, but if you wanna chase the tuna go the tierra i use a 2000 sol for all my tuna n have caught long tail over 13KG but the 2004 spool would get spooled way to quick.
Cheers Fishbutler

Second that, I have had 3 infeets and loved them best $200 reel on the market. Or if you look at this http://www.breammaster.com/forum/showthread.php?t=32773 Best $170 buck reel pre-spooled with wicked braid... just saying.
