Question jarvis walker watersnake electric motor

does anyone have one of these? my wife bought me one for my birthday a shadow with remote controls. works great except for the remotes which should work up to 20 metres away but are only working about 1 metre away which is virtually useless. have followed all the instructions and replaced all the batteries but still not working properly. anyone know what else to try?

The head unit has 2 circuit boards inside.

The smaller board at the back of the head unit has a little curly wire attached to it.

Carefully pull this wire to extend it further out from underneath the curcuit board making sure you dont detach it from the board.

This should help!!

If I operated my leccy from 20 metres away, I'd be swimming...

Just jokes, hope you solve the problem.

cheers
