Smith Bayliner Metal question
Hey guys
What's the difference between the Smith BLM-73UML/RF and the Plugging model BLM-P70UML/RF ? I notice the handle on the plugging model is shorter....... I want a rod for punching two handed casts with shallow cranks. So I can cast say an atomic crank as far as i can now cast a chubby, and the chubby even further etc. Also looking at the Daiwa Saltist but at 7'5" i think it might be a tad too long for me, not sure but my current 7 foot B'ley Dropshot seems an ideal length for me. Cheers Mick. |

if your looking at spending that much money go for the smith or a daiwa interline the saltish 7'5" is a nice rod but i find it really sloppy in the middle of the rod but the 7'1" might be more to your liking.
trout bum might also have a rod that could suit and there top shelf pieces of gear. |

Thanks mate.
Best thing is for me to have a play with them. I will have to weigh up cost yeah so i will be looking at things like NItro powerbream finesse as well and they do sometimes come up 2nd hand on here. I am looking for something specifically just for flats work and light cranks with light fluro, and that's it. Pulled hooks and watched two nice bream swim off on me at the Bribie Island ABT on the w'end. Was there a difference in the 7'3" and the plugging model 7' that you knew of? Cheers Mick.
