Feedback on New Model Certate.

I may have missed this and apologise if its already been discussed however, now that the new model Certate has had a bit of time to settle in and people have given it a good run I was just wondering about some genuine feedback.
I'm considering updating a 1000 twinny FB to maybe a 2004 or 2000 Certate to fit a Gloomis 842-2 but I guess I'm a little bit suspicious about the price drop.
Now that they are 'run in' is the technology as good as the advertising would have us believe and are they better than the old model?
Cheers Paul

For the money, worth every cent! I got the 2506 and have been exceedingly happy with it. As Alex will no doubt say below me there were some people who had issues with them but I wasn't one of them.

I love my 2000 and 3000, as smooth as anything out there.
But there are other that have had some trouble with them. Search for a thread about 1-2 mths back there were some not so glowing reviews.

Thanks for the feedback guys - now the big problem... Do I get the 2004 or the 2000? I use the loomis more from the bank or wading the flats so maybe the 2000 is a bit more versitile?

2000 makes little difference but it is nice to have the extra line capacity.
after all whats a bit of mono backing...

I've got the 2000 had it for a few months and its fine. Nice and smooth and feels very solid.

For flats fishing i'd probably go a finesse model. 2004 or 2506. Cut down on weight a little and also not have the hassle of backing.

I love em'. Couldn't justify the extra bucks for Steez's, especially as I bought 6 and Steez's are not available in my fave size in Oz. All 2506 and a couple of 2500 rcs spools with cash left over by not buying Steez's.
